Racism Study Group – (Part 2) - The study group will be continuing Stamped From The Beginning –The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America by Ibram X Kendi, reading and discussing the second half of the book. This book follows the purposeful development of racist ideas during the early inception of our country and the impact of the acceptance of these ideas and the people involved in perpetuating and fighting them. Science Book Group –The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs: A New History of a Lost World by Steve Brusette is an update on the world of palentology, the author tracks the existence of dinosaurs from their emergence in the early Triassic period to their ultimate demise in the Cretaceous (except the ones who escaped that death and evolved into birds!)
